药性: 味甘，苦， 性寒。归心，肝，肾经。功效：清热凉血， 养阴生津。
用于温热病入营血。善清血分子热。又能滋阴生津。
可配合玄参，麦冬。

Medicinal properties is sweet and bitter in flavor, cold in nature and attributive to the heart, liver and kidney meridians
Medical action is to clear away heat and cool the blood, nourish yin and promote the production of the body fluids.
Application is indicated for seasonal febrile disease involving yinfen and xiefen. It is effective in clearing away heat in xuefen and can nourish yin and promote the production of the body fluids as well. It is usually combined with xuanshen and mai men dong.
